I cannot lie, Miss Tay and I are super-duper excited about the Kansas City Chiefs heading to the Super Bowl. Go Chiefs! The fearlessness, the focus, the discipline, the hard work the entire team has put in to make their dreams come true—all inspiring. Not only are Miss Tay and I thunderously committed to kindness in 2023, we are also committed to staying fearless. But not in the way you might think. For us, fearlessness is looking at something straight on, putting one foot in front of the other, no matter how scared we are inside. Why? Because being scared doesn’t have to mean that we are scaredy-cats. It also doesn't mean that we won't get tackled, injured, or wind up losing something. Fearlessness means holding a hand when necessary. Adventuring. To discover ways to create a spark of magic, hoping your way will develop a life of its own that continues to ignite more magic. Fearlessness means carrying the knowledge that your efforts don't have to have a perfect result. We don’t mind imperfect results. Stay determined. Move. Try. Always together. Dreaming.
Dreamers? You bet ’cha! It's sooooo fun to dream. Let it fill your soul with creativity and laughter. Smile at every spark of joy, even if it is just for a moment. Hold onto it. Enjoy it. Savor it. Cherish it. Use the treasure of it to help yourself create another spark, and another spark, and another—until the joy becomes bigger than it ever was before. Keep trying. When your dream doesn’t work—try something different. Keep inspiring friends. Spread some joy. Feel some love. Give a hand to a hand in need. Stay Fearless. That's our coffee note of the day. Love, Bonnie + Miss Tay
